USCIS Fee Increases To Start October 3, 2020
USCIS filing fees will increase by an average of 20% beginning October 3. Some common fees will increase dramatically. These include:
- The “packet” fees for Adjustment of Status, including work and travel permission will increase by more than $1,000, from $1225 to $2,270
- Naturalization fees will increase by $530, from $640 to $1,170
- Work Card fees will increase by $140, from $410 to $550.
- Fees for an appeal of a denial of naturalization will increase by $1025, from $700 to $1725, (an increase of 148 percent).
A few fees will come down. The fees for an immigrant employment-based petition will be reduced by $145, from $700 to $555.
Applications must be received at USCIS by October 2 to be included under the current fees.
