Noumean A. Rashid

Noumean A. Rashid joined the firm in November of 2016. He attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL for a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance. At FSU, he was the president of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) and coordinated one of the largest student group gatherings during the year. In between school years, he interned at the State Attorney’s office in the Criminal Grand Jury department. After graduation, he was accepted into the Congressional internship program in Washington, D.C. and joined the office of U.S. Representative Ron Klein (FL-22), experiencing firsthand how politics and the law functioned.
Noumean began his legal career at the West Virginia University College of Law where he was accepted into the immigration clinic. The clinic’s main goal was to provide immigration services to low income individuals. Through Catholic Legal Charities, he requested the first Board of Immigration Appeals case for the clinic and the appeal was eventually granted. At the main university, he interned with the Office of International Students and Scholars to gain experience regarding F-1, H-1B, EB-1, and PERM for highly skilled professional researchers and instructors. After graduation, he continued to focus his legal career on employment-based and business immigration.
Noumean works primarily out of the Ronkonkoma office where he devotes most of his time to business related immigration matters. He is a good member of the New Jersey Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In addition to English, he is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Spanish.
